If it begins to rain or there are any other disturbances due to weather, either prior to the performance or during, then there is a chance that the performance will be cancelled, as the vinyl on the stage becomes very dangerous when wet. We will keep you informed on Danish Dance Theatres website, on Facebook or Instagram. 

FOOD & DRINK


Should you become hungry or thirsty, it will be possible to buy food and drinks at Ophelia Plads and in the food trucks that serves delicious pizzas, burgers, snacks, drinks, coffee and so on. 

We would kindly request that you do not bring your own food and drinks to the venue.

It is possible to park at Jeudan Parking in their new three story parking lot underneath of Kvæsthusmolen. The parking lot is open 24 hours.

Tickets / reservations
You can reserve a seat for 200 DKK (A-SEATS. Refundable in case of rain) or 80 DKK (B-SEATS. Not refundable in case of rain). There will be 144 free seats which cannot be reserved but are given on a first come, first serve basis. Free tickets will be seated on the back rows. Premium seats (A seats) and B seats are divided into sections but are not numbered. The gates open one hour before each performance.

PLEASE NOTE: B-tickets are non-refundable! Also in the event of cancellation.

 

There are restrooms for walking-impaired in the parking lot at Kvæsthusmolen.

Copenhagen Summer Dance is an open-air contemporary dance festival located at Ofelia Plads Harbour pier in the heart of Copenhagen. Over the years, Copenhagen Summer Dance has established itself as a popular cultural event that draws people from all over the world to experience contemporary dance with the harbour, the Opera House and passing boats as backdrop. It is with great pleasure that we can continue the company's distinctive summer tradition that encourages openness, new encounters and exchanges between choreographers, dancers and audience.  
 
This year's Copenhagen Summer Dance offers world-class international dancersA duet by and with choreographer and former ballet dancer at the Royal Danish Ballet Sebastian Kloborgthat he will perform with Russian ballet dancer star Maria Kochetkova. Stephanie Thomasen, (recently Nominated “Best performance 2021” by the Danish Reumert Theatre Commiteeof Uppercut Dance Theatre presents the exciting new work “Benched, that combines contemporary dance, breakdance and physical theatre. Finally, a world premiere by our Artistic Director Pontus Lidberg with new music by Copenhagen-based electronica duo Den Sorte Skole, played live.  
 

THE BATTLE – A Street Dance Battle  
On Saturday night, Mark Philip, the second half of Uppercut Dance Theatre, will gather some of the city's greatest urban dance talents to THE BATTLE. A rhythmic and festive night with Mark Philip as our charming and entertaining host. Don’t miss out on the wildest urban dance experience this summer.  
THE BATTLE is free and requires no ticket or registration.
