SURVIVE is a choreographic ode to the many faces of resistance.
Roza Moshtaghi is a Tehran-born artist and choreographer based in Oslo. She draws inspiration from everyday situations and transforms them into surreal and humorous encounters. In her work, fiction is not merely a creative choice – it is a tool for discovering what comes after survival.
In this performance, Roza blends the ordinary, the vulgar, and the exaggerated, as cartoon-like fight scenes and pulsating rhythms are transformed into moments of gentle poetry. For Roza, it is essential to listen deeply and speak loudly. And yes, we are allowed to scream.
