Nordic Summer Dance presents an artistic - and free - world-class experience in Denmark and Sweden.

Danish Dance Theatre takes the next step in developing the popular Copenhagen Summer Dance and presents selected parts of the event to the rest of the North - starting with festivals in Sweden and Finland.

This year Park Theatre in Vitabergparken has existed for 72 years and with its capacity of 3,000 audience members they celebrate the summer every year with free music, theatre and dance. Stockholm's Stadsteater's Park Theatre in Vitabergparken is a popular event with a widely loved program. It is with great pleasure that Danish Dance Theatre once again shall participate in this highly regarded cultural event in Stockholm.

Danish Dance Theatre guests the Park Theatre festival with a program which includes the critically acclaimed choreography ‘Carmina Burana’ by choreographer Allesandro Sousa Pereira. Additionally, an excerpt of the ‘Firebird’ will be presented, a brand new version of the Fokine ballet with music by Stravinskij and choreography by Tim Rushton.

This August the audience in Vitabergparken has the opportunity to experience unique, free performances which feature the very best of contemporary dance under the open sky.
