DANCER M. NUYENS MEET’S H. M. QUEEN BEATRIX AT HOLLAND DANCE FESTIVAL

Danish Dance Theatre’s Dutch dancer Milou Nuyens is invited to open the prestigious 'Holland Dance Festival' January 28, 2016

Milou Nuyens opens the internationally highly esteemed dance festival ‘Holland Dance Festival’ in The Hague at the Zuiderstrand Theater. Here she appears both in a duet by choreographer Alessandro Sousa Pereira from Danish Dance Theatre - danced with Andreas Kaas from the Royal Danish Ballet - and with the work ‘Snake Sense’ by the choreographer Regina van Berkel (Netherlands).

Milou Nuyens states the following concerning her participation:

"I was invited to participate in the program, because I was the first Dutch person ever to win the Eurovision Young Dancers Competition 10 years ago. I am one of two dancers who were selected by the festival organizers to meet H.M. Beatrix of the Netherlands. She will be attending the opening show, with her son and his wife. I'm really looking forward to this event!"
