KNOT by Stephen Shropshire
WORLD PREMIERE IN 2017 AT THE ROYAL DANISH OPERA HOUSE, COPENHAGEN
KNOT will be created by the American choreographer Stephen Shropshire – the former artistic director and chief choreographer at Noord Nederlandse Dans in Groningen, the Netherlands. Shropshire is interested in investigating a more conceptual and technical style of choreography, and with a powerful movement vocabulary and a brand new score from composer, Chris O’Connor, Shropshire’s new work will challenge man’s existential basic condition of loneliness vs. community.
