All programmes culminate in a shared theatre visit to experience the full performance live.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Aims of the programmes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To stimulate a new understanding of and interest in dance as an art form<\/li>\n<li>To let students experience themselves and with each other in new ways<\/li>\n<li>To foster a joy of movement and a positive relationship with one\u2019s body and its strengths<\/li>\n<li>To support self-esteem, confidence, and a sense of community through dance, including collaboration skills<\/li>\n<li>To create understanding for the value of one\u2019s own and others\u2019 creativity and ideas<\/li>\n<li>To help students experience their bodies as in new creative ways<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Season 25\/26 Offers:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>DRIP TEKHNE School Programme (Grades 7\u20139):<\/strong><br \/>\nThis season, Dansk Danseteater offers four creative dance programmes based on the acclaimed performance Drip Tekhne \u2013 The Evolution of Movement, which participating classes will see at Teater Republique in Copenhagen.<\/p>\n<p>This programme is part of the pilot project Dance Communities in the City of Copenhagen, in partnership with Dansehallerne and Dansekapellet.<\/p>\n<p>The course introduces students to dance and movement as an art form with an emphasis on joy of movement, creativity, collaboration, bodily communication, and musicality.<br \/>\nDrawing from the content of Drip Tekhne \u2013 the Evolution of Movement, students will take part in adapted and varied teaching including physical exercises, creative games, choreographic tasks, and supportive visual and textual materials. They will build a shared foundation from which they can develop their own ideas and collaboratively create dance scenes.<\/p>\n<p>The programme is led by two experienced dance educators from Dansk Danseteater who are trained to create safe and inclusive spaces where all students can meet dance in their own way\u2014without fear of being exposed or judged.
