Together with our world-class dancers, we go on dreamy explorations through sensory landscapes and playful challenges. We\u2019ll choreograph superhero duels and slow-motion flower battles, transform into imaginative dreamcatchers, and so much more \u2013 always inspired by the choreography, music, costumes, props, or scenography from Danish Dance Theatre\u2019s productions. Each session is different, ensuring there\u2019s always something new, surprising, and fun on the program!<\/p>\n<p>Each class is built as an immersive experience where children both witness snippets of performances as an audience and engage in movement games inspired by the performance universe. At the end of each session, we invite parents into the studio to see what the children have experienced and created.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Through our children\u2019s activities, we aim to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Spark curiosity and interest in dance as an art form through play, creativity, and movement<\/li>\n<li>Let children discover themselves and each other in new ways through shared experiences<\/li>\n<li>Promote joy of movement, movement sills, body awareness, and a positive relationship with their own body<\/li>\n<li>Support confidence and self-esteem through dance<\/li>\n<li>Nurture creativity and appreciation of each other\u2019s ideas and expressions<\/li>\n<li>Empower children to see their body as a creative and communicative tool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter who comes first or who can stretch the furthest \u2013 everyone is welcome, no matter their level of dance or movement experience.<br \/>\nTickets are sold in sets of three sessions.<br \/>\nPrice: 225 DKK for three sessions<\/p>\n<p>INFORMATION<br \/>\n<strong>AGE:<\/strong> 5\u20138 years. Open to all levels \u2013 no prior experience needed.<br \/>\n<strong>INSTRUCTORS:<\/strong>\u00a0The activities are led by our dance educator Natalie Sloth Richter along with professional dancers from the company, who will guide and support the children.<br \/>\n<strong>LOCATION:<\/strong>\u00a0Takkelloftet, The Royal Danish Opera, Ekvipagemestervej 10, Copenhagen<br \/>\n<strong>PRICE<\/strong>:\u00a0225 DKK for three sessions<br \/>\n<strong>PARKING &amp; TRANSPORT<\/strong>:\u00a0Parking is available in the garage beneath the Opera House (35 DKK per hour). Bike parking is available out front.
